It was not a 7km run laa....much further than that. Jauh lagi....
This mamak donald dunno detour where lah to get only 7km.
Anyway, I was lucky to 'sayur' two runners in the last km. Otherwise I'll be out of top 30 to get that medal. Phew!
Ok, let's rewind to the starting point. 740am, after some aerobics in Dataran Merdeka, the gun went off. Dr Rum and Ming were with me at the starting line. Immediately I ran like some wild beast was hot on my tail. Upon reaching train station behind Bank Negara, I was like a fish out of water....
From then onwards, steady pace till the end...33min37secs....28th! Yeah! Or phew....it was not 31st....hehe!
This run was unusual...cos at the finish line, we were treated with Coke, Vitagen, ice cream instead of 100plus! Different but nice!
Ming was champion for her category...1st place and Siok Leng was 5th. Super fabulous!!!
Dr Rum...err....he was pelarian haram...
Off we go for yum yum breakfast!
